After the dinner, please attend our delegation briefing. The guide will give you a detailed explanation of the itinerary and knowledge about photography, then you will return to the hotel for a short rest. When night falls, in order to avoid the city's light damage, it is planned to take the shuttle bus to the northern lights observation cabin ( the first observation ) located in the suburbs at 22: 00 to enjoy the northern lights. It is expected to arrive at the hotel for rest at 02: 00 a.m. the next day.

Fairbanks

Fairbanks, Alaska's second largest city with a population of 100,000, is a transportation hub for exploring the interior of Alaska and the arctic circle. Fairbanks is the best place in the world to watch the northern lights.  There are over 243 days in a year with clear sky when you can see the northern lights. Because it is only 310 kilometers away from the arctic circle and is close to the barrier of mountains, Fairbanks can avoid bad weather. Therefore, the seekers of the northern lights will gather in this city where the northern lights are most easily observed. There are also many newly married couples who chose this place as their honeymoon destination because of the ancient legend that "seeing aurora will be a blessing for a lifetime."

Day 2

Itinerary: Fairbanks - aurora tracking trip across arctic circle - Fairbanks

Itinerary: we will leave downtown of Fairbanks at 10: 00 this morning. you will take a warm, comfortable and professionally modified bus ( because there is no mobile phone network near the arctic, the bus will be equipped with satellite phones throughout the trip, and special personnel will be assigned to monitor the vehicle condition to ensure the timeliness of emergency rescue and the safety of tourists ). We will continue along the Dalton Highway, one of Alaska's most faraway and challenging routes, heading all the way north. The Arctic Circle refers to the virtual line of 66° 33' north latitude, which is the dividing line between the north temperate zone and the north frigid zone. The arctic circle indicates that there will be extreme days and extreme nights on the border to the north. During the extreme days of summer in the arctic circle, the sun will not disappear from the horizon; during the extreme nights of winter, the sun will not rise from the horizon. Today, you finally come to the intersection of the 66° 33' north latitude and the Dalton Highway, take a photo near the landmark of the arctic circle in Alaska, and get a [Arctic Circle Exploration Certificate], adding a new honor to your travel career and drawing a complete end to your journey to the arctic circle. The Dalton Highway is called one of the "top ten death roads in the world." It is a "gravel" road passing through polar regions, tundra and permafrost. The road built on the frozen soil is doomed to be uneven, it needs to be built according to the ups and downs of the terrain. Uphill, downhill and turning will appear in your journey many times. Therefore, only vehicles with professional operation license are allowed to enter the road to drive. Along the way, you can have a glimpse of the tundra landscape of the arctic wilderness, and also have the opportunity to see wild animals such as caribou, arctic fox, wolf, bear, musk ox, etc. on the way. On the way, we will watch another great and difficult pioneering work of mankind: the 1,300km long oil pipeline running through Alaska's north and south. Apart from overcoming the harsh weather environment, the construction of this 1,300km long oil pipeline has also experienced many challenges. You will understand the origin of the oil pipeline, advanced temperature control technology and related important patented inventions. On the way back to Fairbanks, the tour guide will select three high-lying and open-field to stop and invite you to wait for another chance to encounter with the northern lights (second observation)

Upgrade at one's own expense: Flying over arctic circle for your aurora tracking trip  (to come by plane and back by bus, 1.5 hours for one-way flight and about 10 hours for one-way bus trip )

Special note: this project is a scarce resource and needs to be booked online in advance and finish the payment.

Day 4

Itinerary: Peak Luxury Wooden Houses at Alaska Range

Itinerary: after waking up early in the morning and enjoying brunch, the tour guide will lead you to walk freely in the pine forest and ice lake, enjoy relaxed afternoon time, and learn the skills of ice fishing under the guidance of Alaska fishermen. From November to March of the following year, rivers and lakes in Alaska are frozen. Generally, ice fishing can be done when the thickness of ice reaches 8 - 10 cm. The most important thing is to pay attention to safety. The first point is that ice must be 8 cm or more thick before can be boarded, otherwise it is very dangerous when the ice is thinner. Because the water temperature is very low, the physiological activities of the fish are greatly affected, they are in a semi-sleep state, and are slow to respond to the external influence, so the vigilance is very low. In addition, there is a thick ice cover, which reduces the influence of the external change on the fish. Ice fishing is also an ice and snow project that Alaska locals are keen on in winter. For dinner, you can personally taste the ice lake fish meal cooked with exclusive recipe. Afterwards, you will continue to wait for the wake-up service of the northern lights  in the luxurious wooden houses in Alaska Range, where there are wide French windows, and you can stay indoors and wait for the arrival of the northern lights comfortably in the warm bedroom (the 4th observation)

Recommended features: you can not only watch the northern lights in the aurora room behind the French window, but also shoot the northern lights at the aurora terrace after the northern lights wake-up service.

Day 5

Itinerary: Peak Luxury Wooden Houses at Alaska Range-Chena Hot Springs Resort (Deluxe Room)

Itinerary: after waking up early in the morning and enjoying brunch, we will go to Chena Hot Springs resort, which has a history of more than 100 years. It covers 440 acres and is located outside Fairbanks. It is about 60 miles away from the city and about 15 hours for one way drive. The communication signals there are difficult to cover, and the danger level of the road is no less than that of the Dalton Highway, especially in winter when covered with ice and snow, it is even difficult to identify the direction of the road. On the way, there may also be occasional encounters with wild animals such as moose and traffic accidents caused by wildlife collisions. However, it is famous for its magical therapeutic hot springs, gorgeous northern lights, advanced renewable energy projects and ice museums, and has become one of the must-see attractions for almost every visitor to Alaska. You can relax yourself and purify your body and mind in the outdoor pure natural mineral spring pool, experience the double feeling of "one side is ice and snow while the other is warm like spring" in the hot springs which is covered with snow and fog.

Of course, the most important thing is that you will have the opportunity to watch the northern lights while soaking the hot spring, and enjoy the unique experience of the gorgeous northern lights in the dense water vapor - the steaming heat seems to isolate the noise of the world, leaving only the starlight and the green light flowing in the thick darkness. Is there anything more pleasant than chatting with family members or friends in a pool of warm and sunny places, or just enjoying the rest and tranquility quietly? You can also visit the world's only ice museum that is open all year round (the fee already included). It is built of 1,000 tons of ice and snow, and packed with exquisite works by world-class ice sculpture competition champions over the years. The desks, chairs and utensils in the museum are all made of ice. With the changing light of the ice lamp, people seem to be in a fantastic fairy tale world of ice and snow. You can also taste the Apple Martini ( the fee already included) in a beautifully carved ice glass at the ice bar to experience the wonderful feeling of touching your warm lips with the ice cup. (The 5th observation)

About 10,000 years ago, the Matanuska Glacier began to retreat to its present position and has not changed significantly in the past 20 years. From November 18 to January 22, the sun will no longer cross the horizon in Barrow, it will be in perpetual night. Barrow has formed a deep frozen soil layer due to the cold climate all year round (the average temperature in July was less than 5 ℃), which prevented precipitation from seeping down, thus forming many rivers and lakes on the surface and spreading all over the earth. This is the magic North Slope. Barrow has flat terrain, when you look up here, it seems that you can see the end of the world. In winter, when Barrow is covered with snow, the land and sea are almost in harmony. You will feel incomparable detachment and tranquility here.
