14-day Tour to East Coast, West Coast and Hawaii


Day 1: Arrival at Hawaii

Take an airport pickup at Honolulu, Hawaii. Due to the jet lag, the arrival time at Honolulu is half past five p.m., November 6, in local time. Go to the hotel after the arrival and adjust to jet lag.

Day 2: Hawaii

Have a breakfast. Then take a visit to Pearl Harbor (it takes 1 hour to see the exterior), which is famous for the base of US Pacific Fleet. Next, visit Chinatown, Royal Palace of Hawaii, the only Royal Palace in the United States (it takes about 15 minutes). The Iolani Palace was the royal residence of the rulers of the Kingdom of Hawaii. The building was constructed in Kamehameha Dynasty.

The Hawaii State Capitol (sightseeing in the car) stands for Hawaii. The unique design of the building exercises the inventive mind, representing the forming of Hawaii among the sea and the volcano. One of the more prominent monuments on the statehouse grounds is the Father Damien Statue—a tribute to the Roman Catholic priest who died in 1869 after sixteen years of serving patients afflicted with leprosy. The Queen Liliʻuokalani Statue in the Capitol Mall between the capitol building and ʻIolani Palace was dedicated in 1982. She was the last king of Hawaii dynasty.

A delicate tour around the island will take place in the afternoon. Go to the Diamond Hill, the onshore land of Captain Cook (it takes about 15 minutes to see the exterior from a distance); take the bus and pass the living quarters of rich and powerful people in Hawaii,Khala (go sightseeing in the car). Along the coastal highway, go to visit the Rabbit Island (go sightseeing in the car), Turtle Island (go sightseeing in the car) and Sandy Beach known for its excellent bodyboarding and bodysurfing opportunities. Then you will reach Hanauma Bay, one of the famous beaches in Oʻahu in Hawaii (it takes about 15 minutes to see the exterior from a distance). Overlooking the panoramic view, it likes a giant dinosaur lying face downwards. Then it will takes 15 minutes to see the fountain from a distance. A natural wonder caused by volcanic lava. When the wave surges, the sea water flies up high to the open sky. Later on, you will arrive at the Pali Lookout (it takes 15 minutes). It was the entrance of Hawaii when Japanese troops launched the sneak attack to Pearl Harbor in World War II period. You can experience the scenery caused by strong breeze.

Day 3: Hawaii-San Francisco

Fly to San Francisco. Located in San Francisco Peninsula, the west coast of California, it is surrounded by water in three sides. The San Francisco is known as one of the most livable cities in United States as it has a moderate climate, beautiful landscape, high living quality and first-rate education quality. Go to the hotel after the arrival.

Day 4: San Francisco-Fresno, a small town in California

Start with a city tour after the breakfast. The main sightseeing spot includes Golden Gate Bridge and City Hall. The bridge is one of the most internationally recognized symbols of San Francisco, California, and the United States. It has been declared one of the Wonders of the bridge engineering in 20th century. It takes about 15 minutes to see the exterior of San Francisco City Hall, which gathered the prevailing academic style of architecture. Its dome in Baroque style is modeled with St. Petersburg Cathedral in Vatican. It is giant in size, classic in style and symmetric in structure. It takes about 10 minutes to visit the beautiful Palace of Fine Arts. The Palace of Fine Arts in the Marina District of San Francisco, California, is a monumental structure originally constructed for the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition in order to exhibit works of art presented there. It once attracted 18 million tourists, while it was abolished. It was rebuilt until 1962 and designed by Bernard Maybeck, who was skilled in detailed decoration. That's the origin of the care and precision of this palace. It takes about 15 minutes to see the exterior of Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Assumption designed by Ieoh Ming Pei. Its white parabolic shaped side wall is in 190 feet high. This Cathedral indicates that how the modern architects to show the creative structure.

Day 5: Fresno, a small town in California-Los Angeles

After the breakfast, go to Los Angeles. As the largest city in west coast and the second largest city throughout America, Los Angeles is not only “city of angels” but also “city of future”. With gorgeous scenery and magnificence of metropolitan, this city integrates prosperity and tranquility and thus becomes a splendid and dazzling coastal city with beautiful scenery in west coast of America. Go to the hotel after the arrival.

Day 6: Los Angeles

Brief introduction to recommended attractions: San Diego is the most beautiful harbor in California as well as the largest port city in west coast. The US military has set up many military bases in San Diego in which the main part includes the US Navy, US Marine Corps and US Coast Guard. These military forces represent the typical style of south California-comfort and pleasure with no pressure. San Diego is the largest naval port of American pacific fleet; the headquarter of the eleventh war zone of naval is located here. It is where the aircraft carrier and nuclear submarine appear and park. Pay a visit to San Diego Naval Base and Sculpture of Victory Kiss; photo of its original shape: one day in August 1945, in Times Square, after hearing the news of victory in World War II, a young sailor could not help holding one female nursed who passed by and kissed the lady crazily. At that time, a journalist took a photo of this touching scene. Afterwards, this photo became famous throughout the world. Even though the kiss was transient, this photo becomes the ever-lasting classic one because it means people’s expression of their ecstasy after defeating the fascists, which has epoch-making significance.Star of India is home-ported at the San Diego Maritime Museum. Then, you will go to Old Town, San Diego. Located in the downtown, Old Town is a beautiful and interesting historic city. It is the birth place of California, was the early colony of Spain and was the settlement of the first batch of Europeans.



Day 7: Los Angeles

Day 8: Los Angeles-Las Vegas

After breakfast, you will pay a visit to the downtown of Los Angeles: [Walt Disney Concert Hall] (about 15min and look outside) is located in Los Angeles of California and it is the fourth building of Los Angeles Music Center.The concert hall is designed by Frank Gehry who wins the Pritzker Architecture Prize. The main hall has 2265 seats and Disney Concert Hall is the headquarters of Los Angeles Philharmonic and Chorus. The unique appearance of the whole building makes it become an important landmark in Southern Boulevard in the center of Los Angeles.

[Los Angeles City Hall] (about 15min and look outside) is located in Civic Center in downtown of Los Angeles and it was built in 1928. As the highest base-isolated building in the world, it is the government center in Los Angeles of America and has Mayor’s Office and assembly room for the parliament in Los Angeles. Surrounding streets include Main Street, Temple Street, 1st Street and Spring Street. It will take about 15 minutes to visit the Staples Center, which is one of the most popular sports centers in America and it has a three-layer omni-directional stand which can hold 20 thousand people at most. Besides, it also has 300 luxury rooms. Apart from the Lakers, this place is also the home field of Los Angeles Clippers. In case of no regular competitions, the Sports Center is also the first place for Hollywood stars to give concerts.

It will take about 1 hour to shop in Fashion Outlets, and the famous brand includes Juicy Couture, DKNY,  Banana Republic and Michael Kors. You can enjoy the shopping. Go to the world-renowned gambling town-Las Vegas. It was known as the oasis in the desert by Indians. Until 1830, a group of Spanish expedition discovered it and named it after Vegas, meaning a grassplot. Now, it has been an internationally renowned major resort city, known primarily for its gambling, shopping, fine dining, entertainment, and nightlife. The sound of fruit machine casino and spinning wheel adds the charm. Return to the hotel after finishing the sightseeing.

Day 9: Las Vegas

Brief introduction: Grand Canyon in Colorado is the one of most magnificent natural wonders. You can experience the quintessence of  Grand Canyon in the West Rim by land, sea and air travel. The tourists can take a helicopter ride falling to valley bottom (having two billion years history) from the top, or can board a cruise ship to visit the Colorado River, the maker of the Grand Canyon. As the glass-bottomed Skywalk opens to the public, West Rim becomes the top of Seven Wonders of the World. The Skywalk will take you to experience the excitement in which you will see the Grand Canyon in 720 degrees in the sky. The glass bridge is over 1200m away from the bottom of the valley. Its full length is about 49m and the width is over 3m. The bridge stretches out 21m away from the cliff. The horseshoe-shaped base is enhanced by 94 pieces of steel columns deepening about 14m in the palisades. 

 The deck and bridge body are made of transparent anti-impact special glass. Then the tourists can take a helicopter ride falling to valley bottom (having two billion years history) from the top. Day 10: Las Vegas-New York

Go to the New York by air. The New York is the center of the New York metropolitan area, the largest metropolitan area in the world. It is the international level center of economy, finance, transport, art and media. As the Headquarters of the United Nations is located in New York, it is called as the Capital of the World. New York City has more than 2,000 arts and cultural organizations and more than 500 art galleries of all sizes, which makes it become one of culture and entertainment in the Western Hemisphere. Go to the hotel after the arrival.




Day 11: New York

After the breakfast, start the New York City Tour. It will take 1 hour in the boat to sightsee the the Statue of Liberty in the island, an icon of freedom and of the United States.

The copper statue was a gift from the people of France to the people of the United States to celebrate the centennial independence of United States. She holds a torch above her head with her right hand, and in her left hand carries the U.S. Declaration of Independence. It was a welcoming sight to immigrants arriving from abroad. Then, you will see the world financial center, Wall Street. It will take about 20 minutes.

Then it will take about 10 minutes to visit the exterior of Federal Hall  in the Wall Street and New York Stock Exchange, respectively. The Federal Hall was formally established on March 4, 1789, which became the first Parliament House after the United States of America was independent. The first United States Congress was convened here. Since 1920s, the New York stock exchange has been always the International Finance Center. The boom and slump of current prices of stocks here create a chain reaction to stock markets of other capitalist countries. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in New York city.

The next spot is the Headquarters of the United Nations; it will take about 20 minutes. Then go to the famous landmark buildings and wealth symbols in New York. Rockefeller Center is a large complex consisting of 19 commercial buildings, facing Fifth Avenue, in New York City. It will take about 20 minutes to visit it without reaching the peak. Almost all well-known shops can be founded in Fifth Avenue where encompasses rich goods, complete brands and high quality. It may take 1 hour. Then it will take about 20 minutes to see the exterior of St. Patrick's Cathedral the most spectacular church in USA. After that, you can return to the hotel. 



Day 12: New York

Brief introduction to recommended sites: as the largest art museum in USA and a world famous museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, is one of four world art galleries, including British Museum in Great Britain, the Louvre Museum in France and State Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg, Russia. As the largest railway station, Grand Central Terminal's distinctive architecture and interior design have earned it several landmark designations, including the design of high waiting hall and separated lanes for passengers and vehicles.



Day 13: New York-Philadelphia-Washington D.C.

After the breakfast, drive to the  Philadelphia, the  the sixth-most populous U.S. city. As the birthplace of United States, it is where the Declaration of Independence was signed and the Great Seal of the United States was designed. The word "Philadelphia" was greek language, referring to brotherly love. It is populated by 1.6 million people. It is famous for livable and quite atmosphere.

It will take about 20 minutes to see the exterior of Independence Palace where collects all historical relics. Then you will see Liberty Bell, taking about 20 minutes. After finishing, go to Washington, D.C. by bus. Washington, D.C., formally the District of Columbia and commonly referred to as Washington or D.C., is the capital of the United States of America. It is the political and cultural center of the United States. As a rare metropolis mainly playing an administrative function, administering state affairs is the main duties of Washington. Visit to the downtown of Washington: firstly pay a visit to the White House, the Office of the President. It will take about 10 minutes to sightsee the exterior.

Vietnam Veterans Memorial and Korean War Veterans Memorial located at the south and north of Lincoln Memorial are another two scenic spots. It will takes about 10 minutes. Then the majestic Washington Monument will cost about 10 minutes; the magnificent Capitol (exterior) will cost 20 minutes; it will take about 10 minutes to see the sacred Lincoln Memorial and Jefferson Memorial in unique style, respectively.



Day 14: Washington D.C.- China

Go to the airport after the breakfast. Leave for the return flight upon handling with boarding procedure. That's the end of trip.
