Trip for 7-day tour in the west of America

Day 1: arrive in Los Angeles International Airport

The concert hall is designed by Frank Gehry who wins the Pritzker Architecture Prize. The main hall has 2265 seats and Disney Concert Hall is the headquarters of Los Angeles Philharmonic and Chorus. [Los Angeles City Hall] (about 15min and look outside) is located in Civic Center in downtown of Los Angeles and it was built in 1928. As the highest base-isolated building in the world, it is the government center in Los Angeles of America and has Mayor’s Office and assembly room for the parliament in Los Angeles. Surrounding streets include Main Street, Temple Street, 1^st Street and Spring Street. [Stanford Center] (about 15min and look outside) is one of the most popular sports centers in America and it has a three-layer omni-directional stand which can hold 20 thousand people at most. Besides, it also has 300 luxury rooms. Apart from the Lakers, this place is also the home field of Los Angeles Clippers. Laughlin was once located in a small town of Colorado River. Decades of years ago, there were only one or two gambling houses. At present, there are twelve large gambling houses here. After arriving in Laughlin, you can have a rest in hotel. 

Day 3: Laughlin-Peggy 

After breakfast, you will take a ride to Peggy or a small town nearby and you can enjoy beautiful scenery on the way. At dusk, you will arrive in Peggy or a small town nearby to check in a hotel for a rest. 

Recommended charged items: [Grand Canyon National Park (south canyon)]. The Grand Canyon is vast and you can only see a small part in a 365.2km range even in a place with the best view. Even though millions of people in the world have visited the Grand Canyon, no one has witnessed its full view so far. The magnificence of Grand Canyon is not only reflected in its picturesque peaks and rocks in different postures but also reflected in changes of color. Due to different mineral substances in rocks at both sides of the canyon, different colors will occur in sunshine. For example, the iron ores will be colorful, other oxides will be in dim color and quartz will be white. Due to colors of scarlet, dark and iron grey, the wall of canyon becomes one huge and colorful palette, which is dazzling and beautiful. 

Day 4: Laughlin- Saint Gorge’s Small Town  

You will take a ride to Saint Gorge’s Small Town, check in a hotel and have a rest. 

Recommended charged items: [Antelope Canyon]. Antelope Canyon is one of world-famous slit canyons as well as a famous scenic spot to take photos. The width of exit at Antelope Canyon is only sufficient for one person to pass and torrential flood will spout out here. The light here is ever-changing and it will shine on the bottom of canyon through several gaps in a short time at noon. Antelope Canyon is the most beautiful canyon in North America and it is very deep but not too long. Distributed along the mountains, the geological structure here is the famous red sandstone. After being eroded by torrent flood, the rocks in canyon seem like a dreamy world. [Horseshoe Bend] Even though it has one view point. We can not find the second scenic spot like this in the world from aspect of its shocking degree. The same as other soil textures, the soil here contains plenty of iron and manganese and thus twinkles metallic red, which is very beautiful in the sun. Moreover, the Colorado River flowing out of this canyon shows green like jade. Complemented with red soil and green river, these colors are a feast for our eyes. Besides, this canyon is round and deep enough, thus being tremendous and overwhelming! 

Day 5 Saint George’s-Las Vegas 

After breakfast, we will go to the world-famous gambling city without darkness-Las Vegas and this city is the oasis well known to Indians in desert. In 1830, the expedition of Spain found this oasis and named it as Vegas which has the meaning of “grassland”. After years of development, it has become the grand top hotel and its twinkling neon shines the night sky to be extraordinarily resplendent. Go to the hotel after the arrival.

Recommended charged items: [Bryce Canyon National Park], it is located in southwest of Utah. Even though its name has the word of canyon, it is not a real canyon but the huge and natural outdoor theater which is located at east side of Paunsaugunt Plateau and formed by erosion. Its unique geographical structure is called rock pillar which is formed by erosion of wind, water and ice in river as well as sedimentary rock in lake bed. In this park, red, orange and white rocks constitute the peculiar natural landscapes, including Aquarius Plateau, Bryce Amphitheater, Henry Mountains, Cliff of Red Rock and Cliff of White Rock. 

Day 6: Las Vegas-San Diego 

San Diego is the most beautiful harbor in California as well as the largest port city in west coast. The US military has set up many military bases in San Diego in which the main part includes the US Navy, US Marine Corps and US Coast Guard. These military forces represent the typical style of south California-comfort and pleasure with no pressure.  San Diego is the largest naval port of American pacific fleet; the headquarter of the eleventh war zone of naval is located here. It is where the aircraft carrier and nuclear submarine appear and park. Pay a visit to [San Diego Naval Base] (look outside, about 30min) and [Sculpture of Victory Kiss], photo of its original shape: one day in August 1945, in Times Square, after hearing the news of victory in World War II, a young sailor could not help holding one female nursed who passed by and kissed the lady crazily. At that time, a journalist took a photo of this touching scene. Afterwards, this photo became famous throughout the world. Even though the kiss was transient, this photo becomes the ever-lasting classic one because it means people’s expression of their ecstasy after defeating the fascists, which has epoch-making significance.  [Sailboat Named Star of India] (look outside from the vehicle) in the 19^th century. After this, we will go back to Los Angeles and rest in the hotel. 

Day 7 San Diego-Los Angeles 

Free activities after breakfast 

Introduction to recommended scenic spots: sightseeing in Hollywood Universal Studios + Downtown, sightseeing in Hollywood Boulevard-star-spangled Walk of Fame, old and solemn Chinese Theatre (look outside), the place for presentation of Oscar Award- Dolby Theatre (look outside) which will bring you experience of the most wonderful films of Hollywood! After visiting the world famous studios, you will go to the base of making Hollywood films and see some scenes in programs and films that you love, such as hit TV series of Desperate Housewives in ABC or the amazing film of air crash-War of the Worlds. Moreover, you had better not missed the masterpiece of Peter Jackson-“360-degree 3D Kong Kim” which has won laurels for several times. Besides, hold your breath and witness the world famous film-which is the last one for your trip in this famous film center-The Fast and the Furious-Super Power! With all-star lineup in films and among international criminal gangs, you can experience the thrilling trip of car racing in the dangerous underground world of auto race and witness the cutting-edge and amazing special effects. The broadest 360-degree screen and 3D high-definition projection in the world will place you in a simulated real world! The journey will not be fruitless with Wizarding World of Harry Potter and The Walking Dead which are open to the public recently.  Visit in downtown area: Walk of Fame, place for presentation of Oscar Award-Kodak Theatre and Chinese Theatre etc; in the afternoon, we will leave for the airport and take a plane to go back.
